- I use active recall and spaced repetition to help concepts stick, paired with the Pomodoro technique for focused study sessions. Lessons often draw on real case studies and local marine ecosystems to make abstract concepts concrete, and I regularly check understanding through short practice questions instead of just lecturing straight through.
-Each session opens with a quick review of the last topic, then moves into the new concept broken into smaller pieces with examples and diagrams. We work through practice problems or sample questions together, and I close with a short recap plus a few questions to self-check before the next session.
