About Joseph
I'm Joe, I'm 21 and graduating soon from university. I have long had a passion for teaching and helping others, and am tutoring in order to fund further study in my field of law (master's degree). I understand when students say they struggle with exams and revision, because I did too. I want to help students to achieve grades they hadn't even considered were possible for themselves

Patient and gentle approach, paired with a desire to help students achieve their best possible results. Our lessons will involve explaining aspects of subjects to me as if I had no understanding, which works to further their understanding of topics, as well as creating quizzes and mind maps to aid in revision. If deemed appropriate I will set 'homework' for the student to complete between sessions, if I believe that doing so will aid in their learning. I can also provide them with the (text)books that I used to study, including my annotations and notes Typical lesson length- as long as needed, typically 1-2 hours Qualifications- time spent volunteering in a school, A in A-level English Lit, A and A* in Lit and Lang at GCSE Lessons are for- GCSE students or students in comprehensive school in general, looking for help in revising for exams/understanding topics. I am available during the summer for students entering year 10 or 11 in September who are looking for a headstart
