About Charlotte
My name is Charlotte and I am excited to meet you! I am in my 3rd year of university, studying a Bachelor of Education (Primary). I have worked as a teacher aide (SLSO) for 2+ years and have completed 2 professional placements, in year 1 and year 6. I have started volunteering at the school I have just completed my 2nd placement at to gain additional experience and guidance. I am a genuine and respectful individual, and having been immersed in classrooms for the past 2 years, I know the diversity of students' learning needs. I am ready to differentiate my teaching to support your child and am eager to support them across a wide variety of subjects.

I will communicate with the parent/carer the best approach to support the child's learning. I have worked alongside a diverse range of learning needs and abilities so have lots of valuable insight into differentiating teaching and learning. I will provide 1:1 support and include a range of activities such as the 'I Do, We Do, You Do' approach, to ensure explicit instruction and independent learning time.
The length of the sessions will vary and will be suited to your own time availability. I am ready to support students from kindergarten to year 6.
I have worked in schools as an SLSO for the past 2 years, most of the time supporting small groups of students or individual intervention. I have completed 2 primary school placements and feel confident in teaching a wide variety of subjects.
