My approaches consist of identifying topics that require learning the topic, reviewing the topic and revision.
Compelled with note taking and open discussion, using a variety of resources including textbooks and established published work.
Small quizzes for each topic to engrain learning and to work out what may need to be looked over.
I am happy to let the student take charge in how they want to go about their own learning and adapt teaching methods.
I am an Undergraduate Psychology Student, entering my third year.
