About Kathleen
Hey there! My name is Kathleen and I study Classical Studies at the University of Otago, and I’m in my second year.
I want to be a lecturer or University-level tutor after my studies, and I have a passion for teaching and helping people!
I really want you to succeed and I believe that everybody has a chance to do well in school and see the marks that they wish to see and achieve whatever they set their minds to!
English can be a difficult undertaking for many students, and I want to inspire confidence in your writing and show you that English can be tackled with a positive mindset and a helpful, kind and understanding tutor!

I take a gentle approach to tutoring, patient and understanding, I know what it’s like to not “get” certain concepts so I want to make sure that you are understanding all that you should be. A typical lesson would be around an hour and a half to 2 hours (negotiable), lessons for intermediate/early High School students (so year 7 up until about year 11) , but could be open to doing year 12 and 13 if the opportunity arose/the demand was there.
