About Ella
My name is Ella and I'm a 2nd year French and English student at Maynooth University. I am looking to offer French grinds as I understand that French can feel overwhelming and difficult for some students, especially the grammar and oral exercises. My aim is to help students with their proficiency, understanding and overall confidence in the language. I will do this through short and accessible study sheets and oral exercises, as well as exposure to the language through radio, music, and television.

I am offering French grinds for both Junior and Leaving Certificate students for all aspects of French that students may need help with (grammar, listening, oral exams etc) as well as a general overview of everything they will need for exams. The lessons will be based on whatever the student feels they need help with. I have flexible weekday times and these lessons will be an hour long. I will provide and explain study sheets containing vocabulary, useful phrases, and exam tips. I got an H1 in French in the Leaving Cert and received the Henry Hutchinson Award from Maynooth last year for French. I would love to offer any help I can to struggling students or to students who just want to gain more confidence!
