About Rene
I am a second year BSc Biomedical Science student with a strong interest in Biology. I help GCSE Biology students understand the subject and develop the necessary skills to apply the information to exam questions. My aim is to break down complex subjects into simple steps and support students in achieving high grades.

I am a Biomedical Science undergraduate with strong academic results and a particular interest in Biology. Although I am new to formal tutoring, I have developed strong communication and explanation skills through my university studies and group coursework. I enjoy breaking complex topics into clear, manageable steps and adapting explanations when someone is finding a concept difficult.
My lessons would be structured around the student’s needs. I would first identify what they already understand and where they are struggling, then explain the topic clearly using simple examples, diagrams and questions. I would use practice questions to check understanding and finish with a short recap of the key points. I would typically offer 60-minute lessons for GCSE Science students, specifically biology at £20/hour.
