About Anum
Hi! I’m Anum, a passionate and experienced educator who believes every child can grow into a confident, capable writer with the right support. I’ve spent years teaching elementary students, especially 2nd and 3rd graders, and I specialize in breaking writing down into simple, clear steps that make learning enjoyable—not stressful. My tutoring sessions are structured, encouraging, and personalized. I take the time to understand each student’s strengths and challenges so I can tailor instruction in a way that truly works for them. Students should take writing classes/english classes with me because I make writing clear, structured, and fun—even for learners who usually struggle with it. I break writing down into simple, manageable steps so students never feel overwhelmed. My lessons are highly interactive, using real-world examples, mentor texts, and engaging prompts to help every child find their voice.
I specialize in helping students build confidence. Many students think they “can’t write,” but with me, they learn that writing is a skill—not a talent—and anyone can become a strong writer with the right guidance. I provide consistent feedback that is encouraging, specific, and easy to apply, so students improve quickly and feel proud of their progress.
I also use strategies grounded in cognitive and developmental research to make writing meaningful, age-appropriate, and accessible for all learning styles. My classroom is warm, supportive, and structured, helping students take risks, think creatively, and express themselves clearly.
