About Savannah
Hi, my name is Savannah. I studied geography GCSE from 2024 - 2026. I achieved a grade 8. When I first started learning geography, I found it difficult alongside all my other subjects as there was so much information. I learnt tricks and tips to condense information that once seemed too hard and too wordy to remember. I used key structural devices to answer my 9 markers which made me achieve 9/9 marks almost every time. Through PETAL paragraphs, I found a way to make case studies more interesting and interactive for myself as case studies can sometimes come across as very similar and can cause confusion, so I found a way to separate them from one another. I truly fell in love with the course and achieved a grade 8 and you can too. I also achieved a grade 8 in food technology, a 7 in art, history and English.

My lessons are designed for Year 10 - Year 11 students.
I would first assess the strong and weak points within your child in geography. The first 5 lessons I would explain thoroughly what is in each paper, what they haven't learnt and what they have. I will also see if your child has got a structured revision plan and knows how to revise. I will do a lesson on revising and the methods they find most productive. As I found with myself, not all revision methods work for one person. Depending on how many lessons are booked with me, I would split them evenly between the 3 papers and depending on the child, I may do more lessons on one paper than the others to help build confidence in it. I would be running geography lessons for 1 hour and have been tutoring students in geography for 1 year now. Throughout Year 11, I helped Year 10s revise and understand the course. As I have only recently done the course, it gives me the fresh viewpoint of the style of questions and seeing the trends from past papers to new papers. Apart from this course, I would also recommend the best websites to help redeem the most amount of condensed and precise information. I'm going to help your child thrive in their GCSEs and achieve the best grades they can.
