About Matthew
I'm a 2023 graduate from St Philip's Christian College, Waratah. Being fresh from school gives me both fresh familiarity with the content, as well as empathy for the stress and workload of a stage six student. I love when I can help people click with a concept and be able to apply it and strive to do so with any and all students. Tutoring is not about giving more work, but about breaking down the work in front of a student into manageable sizes and guiding them from concept to application.
I can approach a concept with versality and patience, and genuinely care about my students learning.

Teaching Style:
- Whilst a cliche, the saying 'everyone learns differently' definitely rings true for me. My teaching style entails approaching a concept from different perspectives and rationales, until one clicks with the student.
- Then, through guided applications, I aim to help guide the student through developing a mental checklist and process for approaching different areas.
- This equips them both for familiar and unknown applications.

- Lesson duration is flexible, anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour.
