About Polly
In 2023 I graduated year 12 as school Dux and was keen to channel my love of writing and reading into tutoring. I studied English (50 study score) and Literature (47 study score) and am a reader of all sorts of genres and authors. I've watched many of my peers struggle with the pressures of English, especially if it's not their favourite subject, and hope to offer some tips and tricks to make school work more fun and accessible.
I've private tutored for 6 months and worked at a Tutoring centre, teaching VCE English class and 9/10 English Classes.
Whether English is your top subject or you dread classes, I'm ready to adapt and evolve our sessions to suit you. Having been Public Speaking Prefect in year 12 and a debater from year 7, I love to chat and can communicate clearly. I’m also starting a Bachelor of Arts this year at Melbourne Uni, majoring in Creative Writing, and plan to spend the next three years reading and writing alongside you.
