Hi!! So no, I am not a professional teacher. I am simply a senior in high school volunteering to teach children of any skill level the English language and academic subject. As a young girl struggling with test anxiety, I've tutored kids of many age levels and found that the best way to prepare a student for that big reading, language, or writing test is to make the teaching environment as calm but structured as possible. It is important to enforce and sustain a learning environment free of fear of failure and full of ambition to ask questions and challenge yourself beyond what your mind may fantasize.
