About Tegan

Hello! My name is Tegan and I am a first year PhD student based in the North West. My research is based around bacterial lung infections within Cystic Fibrosis patients, and the development of therapies to help treat these infections and improve the lives of Cystic Fibrosis patients across the globe.

My academic position means I have developed extensive laboratory skills and critical writing skills. I am passionate about sharing the skills I have learnt throughout my scholastic journey with university students to help them become competent critical writers and achieve the best grades possible in their degree, whether this be within the scientific field or another discipline.

About the lesson

As an individual who has completed an Undergraduate degree, a Master's degree and who is now completing a PhD, I understand how challenging the transition between school and university can be! Particularly in relation to the array of writing assignments and exams introduced to students during their university journey, with literature reviews, scientific reports and theses to name a few!

Through producing such pieces of work myself during my academic career, and through my part-time role as a proof reader during my Undergraduate degree, I know how to turn a 'good' piece of writing into a 'great' piece of writing.

Not only am I passionate about helping university students graduate with the best grade possible, I am also passionate about helping students to develop writing skills that will allow them to excel post-University, whatever their career option may be.

I offer online grammatical proof reading and editing services for an array of multimedia and university assignments, including essays, literature reviews, dissertations, theses and personal statements. I also offer online tutoring for individuals seeking advice on exam preparation, deadline management and PhD application interviews.
