About Skye
Hey! I’m Skye, and I’m a first year medical student at Hull York Medical School. I’ve always had a passion to teach people as I feel it’s such a rewarding opportunity to see somebody improve in their schoolwork but also their confidence when it comes to academic ability. I achieved grade 9 at GCSE and an A* in A—levels for biology!

I believe teaching should be fun and interactive as I feel this aids a greater understanding of learning. Where possible I’ll always try and bring something new to the lesson and we’ll figure it out together what works the best for us! A typical lesson would start by me trying ti understand what you know and don’t know about the topic of the lesson, here we will work on building that knowledge through many different styles of teaching. My lessons will always finish with practising exam questions and us talking them through together so I can ensure the information has been understood.
