About Hamish
I passed my NCEA levels with excellence endorsed and an A- average in my 1st year of engineering at UC. I achieved this without locking myself in a room all day studying and I know you can too. Unfortunately, I cannot change the material that is taught in schools to make it less boring, but I can help you spend less time doing it.

Sometimes all it takes to crack that confusing concept is a new set of eyes.
Sessions can be as long or as short as is comfortable for you. In a typical lesson, the student will bring some material from school, e.g., a worksheet, homework, assignment, or practice exam. We will go through the work together and discuss issues and questions to help the student's understanding.
Lessons are not limited to NCEA and can cover all high school ages and levels.

Perfect! Super helpful when going through practice questions, and makes physics concepts easier to understand - explains why things are happening rather than just how to do an equation which is really useful
Perfect! We have been very impressed with Hamish after just two lessons. His strong subject knowledge is clear, and he is able to present multiple methods and explanations to support deeper understanding. He demonstrates a high level of patience and communicates clearly. Overall, he has created a positive and encouraging learning environment for our daughter.
