About Samuel

I have a background in social sciences, literature, and film. Within this I have an in depth knowledge of many areas of literature and film, and it is a knowledge I am happy to share. I am a graduate of Dundee University and have studied classic literature, medieval literature, hollywood film, and art film, just to name a few.

About the lesson

I have an open and communicative approach to teaching, one that engages both student and tutor in discussion and discourse, something I believe is vital to the learning process. As well as this I am flexible in regards to the methods I employ depending on the needs of the student, what works well for them, and what style of learning aids them the best.

I am a 1st Class Honours English Literature and Film graduate from the University of Dundee, and hold the Joan Laing prize for excellence in this field.
