About Benjamin
I am a recent graduate myself, but my university experience was caught in the uncertainty of the Covid-19 pandemic. There wasn’t a support network in place and many fellow students struggled.
I hope to pay forward the kindness and encouragement my own tutors gave me that helped me succeed.

My aim is to be approachable within my tutoring. I try not to give answers, but rather encourage students to come to their own conclusions while studying.
Film criticism is very subjective but must also be informed by experience and awareness to justify. My film criticism lessons encourage reading around the subject to find new ideas and lines of thought. This may be in the form of setting tasks that inspire comparison or pulling from existing academic thought.
My Dissertation tutoring is much more format based, however, I will provide reasonable criticism to ensure any paper turned in is up to scratch.
