About Harriett
I recently graduated with a 1st Class Degree in English from the University of Liverpool, following on from A Levels where I received 2 A*s and 1 A. As a tutor I am committed to finding a way that works for you, and so can be flexible to support you in your efforts to improve your skills in literature.
When working with students in the past, I have been patient and tried different methods to make sure that progress is made without being too overwhelming, as I understand the complexity of literature, and want to make sure others can too.

During my sessions I will be available to proof read essays and go through ideas and textual analysis with you while also helping you to develop your own essay writing style. I can work with you on what you need to focus on, whether that is to generally improve your literacy and writing skills, or if there is a specific text you need to study.
Lessons will usually be done in 1 hour sessions, however I am flexible to either extend or shorten to fit in with your schedules and mine.
I offer support to students at A Level/college level and below, given that I have successful experiences from both A Levels and GCSEs.
