About Joe
I have taught around a dozen students at a variety of levels who have all provided positive feedback for over two years now, ranging from having guided a student to a top grade (9) in his Maths GCSE, to helping a year 3 student build confidence and learn their times tables as quickly as possible. I am up to date with the newest exam specifications and personally purchase all the required materials needed so that you can get the best tuition experience possible.

Hello, I'm Joe!
I've been tutoring via other sites for 3 years now, and have decided to come over to SuperProf at a discounted rate whilst I'm still new here. I've taught academic ranges from Primary School to A-Level, and can help you or your children improve confidence and performance in your chosen subject.
Whilst life isn't all about exams, I am an advocate of practising via past papers and questions which I believe provide a relatively thorough check of knowledge. In lessons, I would aim to sit with the student through a past paper or examine a previously completed paper, and identify the mistakes that have occurred through a lack of understanding of the material. I would then proceed to identify exactly what aspect of the material is causing confusion, then provide alternative ways of thinking about this aspect so that a more effective mental model can developed by the student to be applied to future questions. We then repeat this process until the student is comfortable and confident with all their material!
