About Andalina

I am a sophomore with a 3.75 GPA. Outside of my academics, I stay active in school athletics as a member of the cheer, soccer, and track teams. I love reading and history, and I aspire to become a medical malpractice lawyer. I look forward to helping students succeed!

About the lesson

School can be incredibly stressful, especially when you do not understand a challenging concept. As a high school student who balances work, sports, and school, I know exactly how that feels. I don't just help you memorize the material; I use customized teaching strategies that build true understanding and real-world application. Having turned my own C and B grades into refrigerator-worthy grades and helping my own friends, I know these methods work. I use proven methods such as I do, We do, You do, and the Feynman (Teach Back) method, and more, locked in with spaced repetition and active recall. A typical lesson follows this flow: Review: Warm up with a fun learning game or active recall from past lessons. Introduce: Unpack the new topic using a personalized learning style that fits the student. Apply & Explain: The student puts the concept into their own words to verify true understanding. Solidify: Wrap up with another engaging game to seal the concept in their mind.
