About Carolina

Hi! I'm Carolina, a singer and online vocal coach!

I've been singing since I was 13 years old and have trained with different singing teachers while also studying acting and Musical Theatre. Alongside my musical training, I also studied Speech Therapy, which gave me a strong understanding of vocal anatomy, healthy voice production and how the voice works. Since 2020, I've been teaching singing online to students of all ages and levels from different parts of the world, including the UK, Italy, Canada, India, Norway and Croatia.

☆ My main goal is to help my students feel confident and discover their own unique voice. ☆

Singing is something deeply personal, and I know how vulnerable it can feel to use your voice in front of someone else. As someone who's naturally quite shy, I understand how important patience, encouragement and a supportive environment are when learning something new.

Because of that, I believe every student deserves lessons where they feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions and progressing at their own pace. Confidence and technique grow together, when we feel safe to explore our voice, learning becomes much more enjoyable and effective.

Whether you're singing for fun, preparing for auditions, or simply want to become more confident with your voice, I'd love to help you on your journey!

Every student has different goals, experience and musical tastes, so I believe every lesson should be personalised.

Whether you're taking your very first singing lesson, preparing for an audition, or looking to improve your technique, we'll work together at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

Lessons may include:
- Healthy vocal technique
- Breath support
- Pitch and intonation
- Vocal range development
- Song interpretation and expression
- Performance skills

Most importantly, I won't just "tell you what to do", I want you to understand why your voice behaves the way it does. I believe that understanding your voice makes learning easier, faster and much more enjoyable.

There is no pressure to be perfect. Mistakes are a natural part of learning, and my goal is to create a relaxed environment where you feel comfortable experimenting, asking questions and discovering your own voice

Whether your goal is to sing for fun, perform with confidence or simply enjoy music more, I'd love to help you achieve it.

  • When did you first develop a passion for music and your favourite instrument?

I was 12 when I realised that singing was something that I couldn't miss in my everyday life. I remember being in my room, searching the songs I liked on the internet and singing at the same time as the singers did, trying to learn the phrases and melodies. But….. It took me a year to start singing lessons because I was really shy. Now that I look back I'm happy to have taken the risk!
  • Is there a particular type of music or artist that you listen to on a loop without it driving you crazy?

I don't think I have a favourite artist of any genre. My playlists are made up of a wide variety of songs, most of them are jazz and pop songs, but I also enjoy some country, rap and musicals!
  • What do you think is the most complicated instrument to master and why?

I think all instruments (including our voice of course) have their complexity. Singing requires skills such as ear training and a developed sense of proprioception, and awareness of the body. It also requires patience. The vocal cords are made of muscles and ligaments, so just like athletes, it takes time and consistency to train them.
  • What are your keys to success?

I would say that for me, the keys to success are patience, consistency, and love for what you do and your own way of doing it. Having a good technique is important but the emotional part is fundamental too. Learning to manage feelings such as frustration, embarrassment and discouragement is something I try to teach my students. At the end of the day, what truly matters is having a good time and enjoying what they do.
  • Name three musicians you dream of meeting in your favourite bar in the early hours of the morning. Explain why.

Three musicians I would love to meet are the band Coldplay, Taylor Swift and Celine Dion. I consider all of them very talented and I admire their music careers. I think they represent the values I believe in, effort, patience and kindness.
  • Provide a valuable anecdote related to music or your days at music school.

In one of my first live performances, I was so nervous that I forgot the lyrics of the song…so I repeated the same phrase again and again until I could remember the final part of the song!
  • What are the little touches that make you a Superprof in music?

Well, I think this question should be answered by my students but I think that what could make me a SuperProf in singing is that I enjoy my job and I try my best by continuing to study and learning how to be a better teacher.
