About Saffron
I have tutored several students in French whilst at sixth form and am pleased to have received positive, touching feedback from them. I enjoyed planning lessons, creating worksheets/revision exercises, advising follow-up work, and increasingly talking in French with the student to a greater degree each lesson. My approach to language learning differs according to the student's reason for learning French, but my main focus is on recognising the accessibility of the language. Understanding its grammar enables you to manipulate word endings and sentence structures so as to say a lot with very little. My experience of mentoring younger students to improve their wellbeing and of volunteering in my local primary school has given me the compassion and patience that is so important when teaching both children and adults alike.

Bonjour! Thank you so much for taking an interest in how I can help you achieve a greater degree of fluent, relaxed expression in the beautiful French language. I am an 18 year old who has recently completed A-Level studies and will be taking a gap year before studying languages at university. I achieved 8 A*s and 3 As at GCSE level, of which I achieved 292/300 for French. In my A-Levels, I achieved 2 A*s and 1 A, of which I achieved 398/400 for French, including full marks in the oral exam. Whatever you are aiming for, I hope to share my passion to enable you to improve your grammar, range of vocabulary, listening comprehension, reading, writing, and pronunciation in French.
I have a passion for translation and so I appreciate the power of language and the opportunities that multilingualism brings with it. You may be studying for an exam, seeking to broaden your career horizons, or simply looking for a challenge in life - if you're a primary, secondary, sixth form pupil, or adult learner, I look forward to fostering in you a love for the French language.

Saffron is a very reliable and friendly tutor. She tutored me for my A level french and I found it hugely beneficial. She is always happy to mark any essays I write and to practice speaking exercises, as well as bringing along informative worksheets and explaining any grammatical techniques which I don't understand. She is always happy to go over any topics I am unhappy with and always answers any questions I have in detail. I would definitely recommend Saffron if you're looking for a friendly, organised and committed tutor who wants you to succeed :)
