About Jasmeen
I am a University of Toronto alumna (2023) who holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Criminology, Law and Sociology with High Distinction. I have recently completed my Master of Arts in Sociology from Columbia University, where I graduated summa cum laude. During my time at UofT, I held two research assistantships along with a one year internship in Ottawa. I love working with students and prioritize an interactive and judgement free working environment. I am always open to suggestions on how to improve my teaching methods so they are more aligned with students' academic journey.

My teaching method revolves around understanding student's strengths, evolving said strengths and improving identified weakness. My lesson's include building foundations in writing, engaging in mock tests, improving analytical skills, and providing proofreading. I am a greatly compassionate individual who is dedicated to improving the academic outcomes of students. My lessons are more for university students in the humanities / social sciences which includes those in sociology, criminology, political science, education, women and gender studies etc. However, I am open to tutoring students in highschool who seek to become prepared for university.
