Hi! My favorite part of teaching is meeting new faces and families. The driving force of teaching for me is the students. I give both students and families a voice in what is being taught and the pace at which we move. I believe that no concern is too small to raise... every second dedicated to a child's education matters!

I am trained to teach students K-5 and have experience working with both Special Education and Multi-lingual students. In terms of math, I have experience and training in math principles and problem-solving skills so students can think creatively about numbers. In terms of literacy, I have training in phonics, early reading skills, and reading comprehension, and understand the complexities within each of these skills.
