About Martina
I'm a German native speaker and online German teacher for the FCDO (Foreign and Commonwealth Development Office UK) and also have extensive experience (10 years+) in teaching corporate German language to executives and employees on senior levels in London. I have a background in Learning and Development (Corporate Trainer), specialising in soft skills, personal development and training the trainer. Back in Austria, I taught German as a foreign language to immigrants in a refugee home as well as professionals in evening courses. I’m experienced in proofreading and translating complex contexts. I have a Diploma in Teaching Science and other training certifications.

My lessons are on a 1:1 basis, tailored to the students' individual needs and will cover relevant grammar topics as well as all 4 disciplines of a language (listening, speaking, writing, reading).
I believe in “brain-friendly” and active learning, targeting the student’s individual goals (ie if a student has to present in German in their work place, the focus of the lessons will be on how to write and deliver a perfect speech, considering cultural differences and diversity).
