About Jayden

Hi there! I am a private high school tutor, focusing primarily on the subject areas of English, Economics, Geography and History .

I received an ATAR Score of 96.65 when I graduated high school in 2017. Throughout the last five years, I have completed my Bachelor of Commerce (Economics and Business Law majors) undergraduate degree at UWA and I am due to complete my Law degree this December, bringing my six years of tertiary education to an end. Due to a light workload at university in my final semester, I will be opening up availability to conduct some high school tutoring sessions in the areas of English and Humanities. I have previously conducted tutoring for 4 years, which I found to be a successful experience.

I have had experience tutoring high school students of all ages. I scored highly in ATAR English, Modern History and Economics. As a result, these are the only ATAR subjects I am willing to tutor in.

I am currently completing my Master of Education (Secondary) qualification.

Outside of university and work, I enjoy spending time with my cat and dog, taking them for walks and spending time with my friends and family!

Hey everyone! My name is Jayden Asmus and thank you for taking the time to view my profile!

Firstly, please let me know where you would like tutoring (including suburb). Happy to try and make it work even if there is a bit of travel involved for us. The locations I have listed on my listing are not the exclusive locations I tutor in.

I am a 2017 high school graduate. Following my WACE Examinations that year, I received an ATAR score of 96.65 (moderated to 98.00). I graduated a student of the University of Western Australia (UWA) last year, after competing two degrees over the last six years; first, a Bachelor of Commerce (majoring in Economics and Business Law), and second, my Juris Doctor (Law) degree.

I am currently completing my Masters of Teaching degree.

I will have availability at least 2 weekdays after 4:30pm, as well as on Sundays (all day).

I am available to tutor the following:
- ATAR English (Year 11 and 12)
- General English (Year 11 and 12)
- English (All Years)
- HASS subjects, including Economics, Geography, History and Civics 8-12.

As a recent graduate of high school myself, I know the pressures that your final years of schooling will bring, and I want to do everything I can to help ensure you achieve your best in all of your studies!

I want to be able to provide you the advice I wished someone had told me whilst I was in school, in order to ensure you experience no surprises throughout your studies. I have advice, tips and suggestions to provide, as well as academic support in my tutoring sessions.

With regards to the courses I listed above, the main areas in which I believe I can help you include:
- Essay writing, planning and structure.
- Exam Preparation methods, and how to properly study for your course.
- Text Analysis (visual and written), particularly for the ATAR English course.
- Short Answer and Extended Response Writing

My rate is $60 for a 1 hour session.
