About Brandon
I am a first-gen graduate student with a passion to see students thrive and succeed in STEM. I went from an average GPA in my undergrad to top of my program in my master's degree and was awarded the Dean's Award for Academic Excellence. This was due to skills learned in time management and studying skills. I tutored and mentored students throughout my undergrad and master's degree and helped them succeed in their classes. My main methods for tutoring are diagrams, charts, and flashcards per individual learning style. I start sessions by finding out your current understanding of the subject and desired goals followed by targeting the highest yield items. My lessons are for high school and college level classes in biology, biochemistry, genetics, physiology, microbiology with a special focus on cell biology and immunology.
