About Iman
I am an academic research student that has a passion for research and further learning. Previous work experience has built my communication and adaptability skills and I would describe myself as a friendly and approachable individual.
Having studied Biomedical Engineering at both an undergraduate and postgraduate level, I have a deeper insight into the methodologies related to Maths and Biology. I want to be able to help those that also want to increase their understanding in these topics.
Other hobbies include staying fit by going to the gym and participating in team-based sports.

As a student myself, I believe I can relate to younger students and have a better understanding of what is needed to help them succeed in their studies.
Whether in person or online, my lessons will involve both a teaching aspect as well as problem solving. Practicing different types of past questions would be the main focus as tests and exams approach, however, prior to this, a full understanding of the topic in question will be reached together. Interactive teaching and working together through problems will ensure for the greatest learning ability, so this form of practice is also considered.
It is ok to struggle to grasp the idea of a topic, but I will make sure my students can reach this and be confident when the same questions appear in the future.
