About CJ
I am a postgraduate student in Creative Writing with a developed craft in poetry, non-fiction and short fiction.
I have a trained eye and clear critical understanding of good writing, and I am able to provide focused, constructive feedback on written work.
I have a wealth of experience in close textual analysis and take great pleasure in demystifying the intricacies of language and literature.
In my professional life I am a non-fiction writer with work across several styles and platforms, and a poet with work published online and in print. My thematic interests include identity, place and the natural world with a focus on eco poetry and prose.
I am passionate about engaging in the arts and facilitating accessible space for all demographics to explore creative industries. In my spare time, I volunteer as a trustee for a charitable organisation which champions young voices in Welsh literature.
