About Quinn
I am an English tutor with a Bachelor of Science in English Language and Professional Writing and more than 3 years of teaching experience. My passion is working with children to develop strong early literacy skills. I love children’s literature because stories help young learners build imagination and empathy. I specialise in working with emergent readers and early elementary students. My lessons focus on phonological awareness, comprehension, and vocabulary growth. To keep learning exciting, I use picture books, storytelling, and creative play. These tools help children see reading as joyful, not overwhelming. Each lesson is personalised to the child’s pace and interests. I emphasise confidence, celebrating each small success along the way. I believe literacy lays the foundation for academic achievement and creative growth. My sessions encourage children to see themselves as storytellers too. Books are powerful tools for learning and connection. Together, we’ll unlock the magic of reading and imagination in English.
