About Jade
I can offer a friendly, non-intimidating tuition environment which is very personal and student focused as I believe in adapting to a student's learning style. I can support the student with reading, content, revision techniques, literacy and writing style and exam preparation. My previous experience working with younger people not only in my family hut at school has helped me to develop the patience and ease necessary for tutoring: during school I tutored Year 7 and 8 students in guided reading sessions very successfully and have previously volunteered to work with the SEN department at another local school. I have also volunteered at my local library for a number of years where I have helped children in my village with literacy and reading.
I am interested in private tuition to develop my skills and gain academic experience. I am also keen to utilise the skills that I have developed over the years to help anybody that I can while I have time off from university.

Available to tutor at primary school/SATs level and at high school/GCSE level. I primarily focus on English and History, being a History student, but I can also offer support for Maths at primary school level. Tuition would be available from June until October and during the 6 week Oxford vacations (Christmas and Easter), giving students an 8 week break from tuition but maintaining educational support during the school holidays.
I achieved Grade 9 or 8 in all subjects at GCSE, including Grade9 in English Language, English Literature and Maths. I am flexible with lesson times as I am currently on a year out but would prefer to keep the window to afternoons.
