About Tia
I have been working as a private tutor for five years now. I recently graduated from my BA Joint Hons degree with a First Class Honours and will commence my Research Masters in Modern Languages in September. I also spent 2018 - 2019 living abroad in France and Germany. During this time I studied at universities in France / Germany and taught German university students English. For me, tutoring is an extremely rewarding career! I thoroughly enjoy languages and teaching / inspiring the next generation of learners! I plan my lessons based on students' individual ability and personal language learning goals. Due to the current pandemic all of my lessons take place online. Hi, I am an experienced French, German and English tutor. I tutor a range of ages, from Primary school to A level or adult learner. I also have AS level English Literature, thus I am capable of tutoring up to GCSE level English. I thoroughly enjoy tutoring and prefer to structure my lessons based around topics taught within the school curriculum to enhance the student's knowledge in the subject. My lessons last for one hour a week and my going rate varies depending on the age and level of the student. I always set my students homework, based on the work that we cover in the lesson, ensuring that the knowledge gained by the students is transferred into their long term memory. I then mark the students' homework efficiently each week and return it to them with relative feedback. Finally, I will reiterate once again: if you are looking for an enthusiastic, passionate French, German or English tutor please do not hesitate to contact me. I love helping students learn and feel that tutoring and teaching are two very rewarding careers.
