About Brittany
Hi! I’m Brittany, a big-hearted book lover who believes that reading should be fun, cozy, and full of imagination. I have a GED and years of experience taking care of little ones, and I especially enjoy reading aloud and helping kids understand stories in creative ways. Whether your child needs help building confidence, improving reading skills, or just wants a buddy to enjoy books with, I’m here for it!
I also have experience working in fast-paced customer service roles and as a salon receptionist, where communication, patience, and creating a welcoming environment were key. Now, I’d love to support your child on their reading journey in a positive, patient, and personalized way.

My lessons are calm, encouraging, and completely tailored to your child’s needs. I focus on building confidence and helping students truly understand what they’re reading—not just rushing through the words.
For younger kids, I love using storytelling, silly voices, and fun comprehension games to keep things engaging. For older students, I offer patient support with reading strategies, vocabulary, and understanding texts in a deeper way.
Whether your child is just starting out, struggling a little, or simply needs a cozy space to fall in love with reading again, I’m here to help. I bring patience, creativity, and a lot of heart to every session.
Lessons are available online or in-person (depending on your location), and I’m happy to work with homeschoolers, traditional students, or anyone who needs a boost!
