When did you develop an interest in your chosen field and in private tutoring?
Soon after starting to teach English 5 years ago, I noticed non-native English speakers need a lot of help in developing their confidence to speak clearly and that's where my main interest in teaching is.

I focus on teaching advanced English students how to speak clearly through techniques I borrowed from other disciplines like pronunciation training, public speaking, and some of my own techniques I have developed over the years.

My passion in biggest interest is to help students achieve English fluency.
Tell us more about the subject you teach, the topics you like to discuss with students (and possibly those you like a little less).
I teach English fluency, so there are some key factors involved to consider when achieving English fluency.

Sophisticated vocabulary
Pronunciation and mouth position
Reading and sentence structure
Confidence through competence

These 4 factors will help you the student greatly to achieve English fluency.
Did you have any role models; a teacher that inspired you?
Actually yes, I have many role models I like to look up to. I love Stephan R Covey's book "The 7 Habits Of The Highly Successful" and the rules in this book help me to give a great service to my students, while also growing and improving my service.
What do you think are the qualities required to be a good tutor?
I have learned that a great tutor is a person who tries to find the real problem the student is having with the English language, then show the student the findings, and together work to fix these problems. Ultimately working well with the student so they can achieve English learning goals.
Provide a valuable anecdote related to your subject or your days at school.
In January of 2021, a student of mine told me his speech therapist congratulated him on the improvements he had made with his native language. I didn't know he had this problem at the time because our classes are in English, but I was pleasantly surprised that my methods had helped a person in their native language as well as English. I really felt like I achieved something on that day.
What were the difficulties or challenges you faced or still facing in your subject?
The biggest challenge I face in this career is to help students see their potential. Students have great potential to grow, and I want to help them with that.
Do you have a particular passion? Is it teaching in general or an element of the subject or something completely different?
Yes. My academic passions are business studies and the art of public speaking. I also love travel, cultures, and cooking.
