About Aisham
I have been in the education field since I graduated high school in 2014. I have spent the past decade seeking opportunities to be both a caregiver and an educator to individuals ranging from infancy to later adulthood. I am currently an early childhood educator, but I am also pursuing higher education to be qualified to teach English in a secondary education setting. I believe as an educator that it is important to keep learning, and I learn best from my own students. I also personally enjoy reading and writing in my free time, so literacy is a vital aspect of my life.

I aim to be learner-centered in my tutoring sessions. Working with the student to observe how they retain information and understand content helps me convey what I am teaching more seamlessly. I also hope to layer in various skills when I can in any way I can to optimize our time together. It is important to expose students to tools they can use on their own without the need of my help. Independence is the goal!
