I focus on creating a comfortable and personal session with clear goals. I appreciate that each student will require a different structure. I like to begin initial sessions with goal setting and a discussion around what activities and learning strategies will work best for each student. I work from the curriculum with a focus on strengthening written communication methods and exam technique. Working as a 1:1 learning support in a secondary setting, I am familiar with the curriculum.
