About Lucie
I am starting my first year of PhD in Law (at the university of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa) and Philosophy (at the university Paris 1 Pantheon-Sorbonne in Paris, France). I am French and I have already taught French in the past. I was giving individual lessons of French with the French Alliance, in Santa Marta, Colombia, from January 2015 to July of the same year.

As already mentioned above I am French, born in Aix-en-Provence and educated in Paris. I usually teach French at level A1 and A2 (according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages). I like to give private lessons in order to adjust to my student's needs. I dealt with several students in the past as I also gave lessons of civil and international law to younger students when I lived in Paris. Therefore I know that a friendly relationship between a student and his or her tutor is important in order to develop one's potential. I usually use books when I teach, and I follow the program of the book to progress through grammar rules, vocabulary and conjugation with my student. However I also like to take the time to practice oral skills by speaking together about a topic that I think is relevant. Finally, I always make sure that a lesson is fully understood before starting a new one.
