Ms. Maharaj has been one of the most helpful and supportive teachers I’ve ever had, especially when it comes to English. She made a big difference in how I write essays, organize my written responses, and prepare engaging oral presentations. She takes the time to teach us how to organize our thoughts clearly, explain our ideas with strong evidence, and express ourselves in a way that makes sense and leaves an impact. Being a student in Ms.Maharaj's class has been a wonderful journey for me. She teaches students in a clear and understanding way that is helpful to the student. She guides students in a friendly way to their best and gives them a lot of commitment. She answers any questions a student has and she also gives advice to students and makes them feel confident about the future. Being in her class as a grade 8 student has helped me improve my knowledge. I have learned many things that I will be taking to high school. From the perspective of a student who has been in Ms. Maharaj's class, she is a wonderful teacher, and she teaches the kids firmly across subjects, guiding the way for young children. As a student who was in Ms. Maharaj’s class for 2 years (grades 7 and 8), I believe she has been one of the most engaging and supportive teachers I’ve had. She’s helped me grow as a student and has contributed to raising my academic skills. I’ve learnt so many things in her class and I feel confident about the next year because of her. Ms. Maharaj’s teaching style and patience made a lasting impact on my learning experience. She actively supported our academic progress across all subjects. Whether it was offering tips on time management, helping us understand confusing assignments, or just motivation in general. I feel so much more confident in all of the school subjects (English, Math, Science, etc) because of things she’s taught me in these years. She never forgot to check in with each of us about assignments, remembered the small details, and created a great learning environment. Ms. Piriam Maharaj is an excellent teacher that always guides her students to their best. She is always on time and is very helpful. Ms. Piriam Maharaj always answers questions from students and encourages them to ask if they need any help. She marks students' work. She gave my daughter good advice for high school and told her about things she can do in the future such as university. She explains the work clearly and encourages my daughter to make better presentations. She gives good feedback, which helped my daughter improve her presentation skills greatly. She is an amazing and a very trustworthy teacher.

She is an amazing teacher! She teaches us so many topics in a simple manner to make us understand it well. You can ask her any question and she will answer it or give advice on it!

I have had Ms. Maharaj as my teacher for my teacher for grade 7 and 8. She was extremly dedicated to her students and you can tell she really loves teaching. Not only was she able to give amazing lessons, but she listened to her students needs and adjusted her class. For example, whenever we would have a due date for an assignment she would always check-in to make sure the date was fair and that we all had enough time to finish the work.

Those two years in middle school were really a gamechanger for me as I also learned more beyond the classroom. She would take the time to give us mini lessons on life which were different and taught me a lot.

She is an easy-going teacher and has definitely made my experience going into high school soooo much easier. I would 100% reccomend her to other students my age looking for a tutor as she is probably one of the best teachers I have had.

Overall, she is the kind of person that not only cares about the material they teach but also cares about the students and people she works with catering to their needs. She has made an amazing teacher and mentor in Gr. 7 and 8, and a tutoring service like superprof is lucky to have her!
