About Maryam
I am an International Baccalaureate student from Canada who has worked extensively in teaching English. I have taught young children to read as well as immigrants to understand the English language. I currently run a newspaper where I teach middle school students to write and research for articles and essays.

I teach by working directly with my students beginning with basic vocabulary and common phrases. I ensure that my students understand English basics and spoken language before graduating them to reading text, listening to complicated language and understanding grammar. My lessons are designed for those learning English for the purpose of education yet I am flexible and can mold my lessons to the student's purpose.
