About Bryson
Hi everyone,
My name is Bryson Irvine and I am from Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada. I have a Bachelors and Masters of History degree, and a Teaching English as a Second Language certificate.
One of the main reasons I love teaching is because of my passion for helping others learn and my dedication to helping others learn the English language.

One of my main teaching methodologies is an interactive based experience for students. What this means is having students actively participate in lessons and complete various assignments while engaging with materials.
Sample Lesson Plan
Teaching the 5 main food groups.
9-915: Welcome students to the class, say good morning, engage in basic English with them.
915-930: Share powerpoint screen with them and show them the different foods in each of the main food groups. While doing this, ask them if they like or dislike them.
930-935: Break time - get students to stand up, stretch, etc.
935-10 ACTIVITY - Play a matching game where students have to match each food item with the correct food group.
What sets me apart as a tutor is my experience working with students. In second year university, I did a teaching placement in a Grade 7/8 class and during this, I gained experience teaching students and working with all different levels of learners.
The lessons I offer are for everyone looking to learn the English language.
