About Elizabeth
My 4 years of teaching English in a high school classroom have made me extremely familiar with common roadblocks that middle and high school students run into when reading and writing. From my master’s degree program, as well as professional development opportunities over the last 4 years, I have developed and honed many strategies to tackle these issues. While it does not come easy for everyone, language and storytelling are inherent to all of us, and I know I can help you have a little fun with it too!

I specialize in creating fun, meaningful learning experiences for students in 6th-12th grade. I can help your student achieve clarity and focus in their writing, provide reading comprehension strategies that will advance even an expert reader's level of engagement, or unpack higher-level texts and aspects of literature and composition if they're in an Advanced Placement, International Baccalaureate, or Duel Enrollment Program.
