Hi there, little learners and wonderful parents! I’m Miss Ellie (well, think of me as your smart, patient, and super-enthusiastic learning buddy), and I help children aged 3 to 10 fall in love with English and Math—one giggle, game, and “Aha!” moment at a time! My Teaching Techniques & Methodology I believe learning should be fun, fearless, and full of discovery! Here’s how I make it happen: Play-Based Learning For ages 3–6, we learn through songs, stories, puzzles, and games! Counting with toy animals? Spelling with rainbow letters? Yes, please! Hands-On Math We use blocks, counters, drawings, and even snacks to understand numbers, shapes, addition, and patterns. Math isn’t scary—it’s a treasure hunt! Story Power for English Every lesson has a story! We build vocabulary, phonics, and reading skills by diving into magical worlds, silly characters, and talking dinosaurs (okay, maybe not real ones!). Interactive Practice No boring drills! I use colorful worksheets, mini quizzes, digital games, and role-play to keep young minds buzzing. Step-by-Step Progress Each child learns at their own pace. I celebrate every tiny win—tying a number to its name, sounding out a word, or writing their first sentence! ️ Typical Length of a Lesson Because little minds are busy and curious, I keep lessons just right: Ages 3–5: 15–25 minutes (short, sweet, and full of energy!) Ages 6–8: 30–40 minutes (with fun breaks and movement) Ages 9–10: 45 minutes (perfect for building focus and confidence) Every lesson ends with a high-five (real or virtual!) and a "You did it!" sticker in your heart!
