Offering 1 on 1 tutoring classes a variety of teaching methodologies such as Communicative Language Teaching focusing on interaction and real-life communication. Task-Based Language Teaching to promote practice and active use of language. I also use the lexical approach to emphasise vocabulary and phrases. For younger learners, there is a huge focus on phonics and sound-letter relationships. I also teach through content based subjects such as history or personal interests to ensure engagement and keep it fun.
Each method has its strengths, and the choice of methodology used is completely down to each individual and their learning style.
