About Cece
I have extensive experience not only turning, but with childcare. I am a very responsible person who takes childhood development into my approach. With years of experience as a Resident Advisor at The New School in New York City, I have training in DEI and managing privacy such as knowing the laws around FERPA.

With experience with Waldorf education, I center the needs and learning styles of each student, prioritizing real understanding over rote learning. I view many subjects as interconnected, and welcome students who have many interests that intersect in new ways. I’ve tutored in many capacities, both private and for a community-based organization. I’ve also tutored people of many different ages, from 9 years old to high school. I approach tutoring with joy, as I genuinely find it fun to solve math problems, teach reading skills, and support the writing process. I also have a BA in Political Science and a BFA in design, and am happy to bring my experience in these fields if desired. I have extensive art experience as well, from painting to photography, illustration, and cello playing. I bring my full self to the tutoring as I look forward to seeing all the interests of my students!
