About Sasha
My love for language began with the purchase of my first novel, White Fang: Call of The Wild at my local grocery store as a 10 year- old. I dove into the classics, like Jane Eyre, Frankenstein, and 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. I began writing fiction at age 12. I published my first science fiction short story in 2018. I became a medieval studies researcher in 2009 after falling in love with Chaucer's Canterbury Tales. I began to weave a feminist gaze into my studies and research. My current articles focus on modern feminism with a scope that reaches back into the middle ages, and even earlier. My short fiction stretches into outer space, recreating the hero's journey outside of our solar system. My memoir about growing up in a fundamental Christian sect is in progress.
