About Lauren

My name is Lauren, I am 27 years old and I am from West Cork, Ireland.
I started tutoring as I completed a degree in teaching English and have wanted to make use of this course as I find it would be rewarding. I currently work as a Montessori teacher where I work with children aged 1-5 years old.

Lesson plans can be arranged for anyone aged 3+.
Lessons will range from 20-30 minutes beginning, and then can adjust the length of a lesson based on progress.

Techniques I would like to use during these lessons would be formative assessment where we can cover small areas and see the process a student is learning. Active learning where students can engage with each other and the teacher, e.g. come up with their own questions after the lesson or even write down what was most clear to them during the lesson and this can be discussed as a group or together afterwards.
