Hi, I'm Ocean
Toronto Acting Coach, Singer, & Certified Life Coach.
Self-discovery didn’t come naturally given my conservative upbringing. but since coming out as trans, I see life in full colour.
Saying goodbye to certain people, without uttering a word, was one of the toughest challenges. But this chapter isn't about goodbyes; it's about the choice I made to amplify my voice and encourage others, like me, to do the same.
I spent years confined to boxes – Opera, Musical Theatre, "playing straight." I even got a Master's Degree in performance from one of Europe's top Universities.
Yet, in a Tiffany Blue nightgown that once belonged to my grandma, I danced to ABBA.
"You are the dancing queen. Young and sweet."
People often overlook the inner work required to stand before a room of strangers and bare your soul. We set lofty expectations for ourselves and fellow performers, urging them to "get out of their heads" and "just jump." Ironically, that very voice sometimes whispers, "Keep it down."
But that voice doesn't belong to you. It's a medley of conservative parents, school teachers, or media, echoing, "Nobody like YOU can be successful."
HELL TO THE NO.
I've performed on international stages, in musicals like A Little Night Music, Spring Awakening, & Next to Normal. But inevitably, exhaustion and addiction took its toll, leading me to step back and focus on my mental health and queer identity. Turns out, they are linked.
Today, my life is a canvas for artistic expression. I helm a Film production company, creating, writing, and performing in QUEER art alongside talents from Schitt's Creek, Kim's Convenience, and Star Trek: Strange New Worlds.
Out There Singing is my latest venture, where I collaborate with clients who enchant millions with their authentic, soul-stirring music. Whether you're in Toronto's vibrant Gay Village or anywhere across the globe, I offer singing lessons that empower and elevate your unique voice.
I no longer need grandma's gowns; my own are even more magnificent, and they belong to ME.

With a Master’s degree in performance from one of Europe’s top universities and certifications in life coaching, Ocean offers a holistic approach that blends artistry with emotional intelligence.
Their work is rooted in lived experience: as a trans, non-binary artist, I understand the challenges of self-expression, identity, and finding your place in an industry often resistant to change. I’ve performed in acclaimed productions like Spring Awakening and A Little Night Music and collaborated with artists from shows like Schitt’s Creek and Star Trek: Strange New Worlds.

He is the best tutor that you can wish for. He gets his job seriously and invests on his students. He has structure and plan during his lessons. The important thing about his lessons is, with the seriousness of the work he always stays super nice and approachable. When he teaches it seems everything flows for him and seamless lessons shows his professionalism and abilities.
Sometimes, even when things are not going too well with my learning he tries to help me and doesn't give up, on the student, and encourages me to do better. While his smile makes things much easier and you don't feel bad about your mistakes.A great tutor!
