About Marianne

After a few years working for the French administration and a media company, I have decided to focus full-time on my tutoring activities. With over ten years of being a tutor (both in French and Math), my experience includes working with children and adults from different countries (so far: UK, Mexico, Brazil, South Africa, United States, Canada, Nigeria, Thailand, Japan, China, Iraq, UAE, France and India!! ). I am genuinely caring about the growth and success of each student I work with.

About the lesson

Taking into account your objectives, I will create something fun and personalized for you! A few examples: - The intensive 10 sessions for beginners - Lessons for advanced levels to help you reach fluency - French conversational classes for francophiles - Coaching and support for TEF, DELF and SLE (Government) - Tutoring for French immersion - French tutoring for business people - French tutoring for artists (experience with well-known actors)

Perfect! Marianne is extremely personable right out the gate. What struck me at first was how friendly and smiley she was, which put me at ease immediately. Marianne quickly assessed my ability level and catered her lessons to my level and learning style. She switched up the types of learning exercises we would do regularly enough that I never got bored. I am a very visual person so I appreciated how she typed out key words and phrases that came up in our conversation onto a shared document, which further reinforced them in my mind. She would also ask fun, topical questions (in french) in our conversations which made me feel like I was truly conversing with a french friend my age. I loved every minute of our lessons!
