About Emilie
I am an English to French translator and proofreader of French texts. I hold a PhD from the University of Bordeaux in France. After living in the United Kingdom for 2 years, I recently relocated to Genoa. I'm learning Italian and I know it is not easy to have a good command of a foreign language!

It depends on your goal and how you learn best. I can prepare a structured class. We watch a short video, read its script together, work on the pronunciation, learn the vocabulary; I explain a particular grammar point from the text and you practice through exercises in which you use the new vocabulary and the grammar that has been learned / rehearsed. We end the lesson with a short conversation.
But if you prefer, we can also discuss - I ask questions and you answer -, listen to songs and study the lyrics, learn jokes, play games, etc. all in French!
