About Makenzie
I’ve been working as a teaching assistant for over two years. I worked with small groups teaching reading and writing skills. I used SIPPS and Sound Partners to teach the fundamentals of reading! I first assess a student's skills to find what parts of reading are most challenging to them. Afterwards we set goals and create a curriculum-backed plan to help students improve where they struggle.
